White Lodge is an impressive Georgian townhouse occupying a wonderful position in a prime location. Within easy walking distance of Shrewsbury town centre.
The fully enclosed walled grounds create a private, not overlooked sanctuary in the heart of Shrewsbury, with the house, annexe and gardens enjoying a rare degree of privacy and protection from both overlooking and intrusion.
Adding to its historical interest, White Lodge has a connection to the Darwin family, having once been the home of the great-nephew of the renowned naturalist and Shrewsbury native. There are numerous attractive period features including fireplaces, high ceilings, quarry-tiled floors and stained glass windows.
